I have the Visual program to edit the source code but I have no idea where to start. In the original RA it would just show up as a blank space but you could train units such as civilians, Einsteins, and the field marshal from your barracks. Therefore, the game can't recognize this as an option and won't allow you to do it. I believe this is due to the game not having an icon for the building and unit. However, it seems with the remastered it won't allow it. I remember in the old rules.ini for the original game, I had it unlocked where if I built the Fcom (Forward Command Center) it would allow me to train the general unit from my barracks. Otherwise known as Stavros / Volkov in singleplayer. I wanted to pose the question if anyone knows a way to edit the game or rules to make it so you can train the field marshal unit.
